Visiting Atlanta
Did you know Atlanta was our COVID vacation getaway? We live in Old Fourth Ward & recommend staying ITP (in the perimeter) of Atlanta near the Beltline. Whether you’re driving in town for our wedding or staying a while in the A, we can’t wait to have you here and hope our traveling friends & family take some time to enjoy all our favorite joints in town!
-
We recommend flying into Hartsfield-Jackson ATL International Airport (ATL). You can rideshare or take the MARTA into the city.
-
We recommend staying near the Eastside Trail of the Atlanta Beltline for easy access to walking, scootering, and biking. Rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are also convenient or grab a chance to reconnect by carpooling with friends and family — whether they’re familiar faces or new ones!
-
For your upcoming stay, we recommend booking within our designated and discounted hotel block at Scout Living, located at Ponce City Market on the Eastside Beltline. Staying here means easy access to great dining, shopping, and entertainment—all within walking distance. Plus, we'll be planning some wedding events at this property, where the bride and groom will also be staying!
You can fill out a room request form with Scout when booking for the Chin/Baez wedding. They’ll reach out to confirm details, payment and make sure you have everything you need for a perfect stay!
Single rooms: $160/night
Two-bedroom suites: $209/night
Secured rates available through March 24th
If you’re booking after March 24th or need assistance, please email adelk@placemakr.com.
For alternative stays, we also recommend:
The Wylie (Old Fourth Ward) – a boutique hotel with historic charm
Hotel Clermont (Poncey-Highland) – home to Michelin-acclaimed dining and Aubrey Plaza’s favorite iconic Clermont Lounge
We encourage you to consider these selections for a comfortable stay. However, we understand the importance of flexibility, so feel free to explore other local options. There are many great Airbnbs in our favorite historic neighborhoods that can provide a unique and enjoyable experience.

Old Fourth Ward
The vibe: Where history meets hype, just like Donald Glover (Childish Gambino)—creative, iconic, and rooted in culture.
Known for its rich civil rights history, Old Fourth Ward has totally reinvented itself as a hotspot for foodies and fun-seekers. Walk or bike along the BeltLine, sip craft cocktails at rooftop bars, and grab something drool-worthy from Ponce City Market. It's like Atlanta's personality distilled into one neighborhood—vibrant, soulful, and always on-trend.
Inman Park
The vibe: Boho chic meets historic charm, just like Florence Welch—artsy, whimsical, and effortlessly stylish.
Inman Park is basically a Pinterest board IRL. Think tree-lined streets, quirky boutiques, and Insta-worthy Victorian homes. Don’t sleep on the amazing brunch spots or the annual Inman Park Festival (seriously, a parade with costumes and everything). It’s the perfect place to spend the day exploring cute shops and stuffing your face.
Grant Park
The vibe: Sunday morning strolls and farmer’s market feels, just like Joanna Gaines—grounded, charming, and all about community.
Grant Park is all about cozy vibes and green spaces. Home to Zoo Atlanta and the dreamy historic park it’s named after, it’s ideal for laid-back afternoons. Swing by the Grant Park Farmers Market or explore the gorgeous 19th-century architecture. It’s peak wholesome meets slightly hipster.
Cabbagetown/Reynoldstown
The vibe: Funky, artsy, and unapologetically cool, just like Timothée Chalamet—quirky, artsy, and effortlessly cool. Don’t be surprised to spot a celeb or two, a very hot neighborhood amongst the film industry.
These two neighborhoods bring the creative energy. Picture colorful murals, artsy vibes, and a community that’s equal parts edgy and welcoming. From tiny coffee shops to Chinese-American dim sum at JenChan’s, it’s the place to go if you love a neighborhood that feels a little offbeat in the best way possible.
Decatur
The vibe: Quirky small-town energy, but make it cool, just like Zooey Deschanel—quirky, approachable, and a little retro.
Decatur is technically outside the city, but trust—it’s worth the visit. This walkable square is packed with indie bookstores, trendy restaurants, and live music venues. Plus, the people here are kind of the chillest. “Decatur, where it’s greater” didn’t become a saying for nothing.
Poncey-Highland
The vibe: A little bit indie, a little bit retro, just like Wes Anderson—quirky, nostalgic, and full of character.
Poncey-Highland has this effortlessly cool, throwback energy. Check out the Highland Inn (it’s giving vintage charm), snag a local brew, or browse indie movie posters at the Plaza Theatre. It’s where artsy meets approachable, and the vibes are immaculate.

We’re finalizing the details for our wedding and have some exciting surprises planned! The vibe is inspired by California’s coastal charm and a garden party under the stars — a night that feels like an intimate dinner party, just on a larger scale.
Dress Code: Formal, but fun. Think effortlessly elegant—flowy fabrics, soft textures, and colors that complement a sunset by the coast. Dress up, feel good, and be ready to celebrate!
